Character question - Guild Wars Forums

Ive had this problem for a long time now, and i decided to bring it to all of you at the guild wars guru community, (you guys never let me down

) so ive beaten every campaign now a couple times, and i think its time for me to start looking at elite areas and title hunting etc. basically, elite PvE. Here's the problem. Im not sure what character to do it with... I have a monk that i wouldnt mind title seeking, doing sc's and elite areas with. But my friend has a dervish and as i started playing with him and his dervish, i realized that maybe a dervish would be lots of fun. So, i guess what im asking is, if im looking for just a title seeking character and a possible money maker, would a dervish or monk be best?

If you'r gonna make a character for titles make sure you enjoy playing this character cause you will be playing him alot if you are serious about maxing titles. At the moment dervishes aren't quite good @ money making the best income for dervishes would probally be running people from 1 outpost to another but like Hell Darkblight stated there will be a dervish update in a while so it could be dervishes become better money makers but for now imo monk is better for money.

My advide for you is to create a dervish and see if you like playing it then compare it to you'r monk then pick the one which you enjoy most because gw is a game and you should get as much fun out if as you can.

The accomplishment-based titles (Protector/Guardian, Skill Hunter, Vanquisher, Cartographer, etc.) are just about as easy to do on any character. Likewise the bought titles (Drunkard, Party Animal, Sweet Tooth). For the account-wide titles, you can split the chores among your characters (best runner for running chests, best vanquisher or AB character for Friend of the Luxons/Kurzicks, etc.). So, in the long run it doesn't much matter which character you use for titles.

Elite PvE (DoA, UW, etc.) and farming for cash are different stories.
